The cover protects the entire seat from sun and weather. It is used as soon as the vessel is parked for extended periods, at the port, dry, or for the wintering period. It shall be removed when moving the vessel on a trailer.

The Cabriolet protects the descent, the watch station and the barrier from sprays, wind and sun. Closures are provided on the Cabriolet to receive a Taud de soleil for optimal protection of the sun and tower canvases to close the cockpit.
