It protects the sunbathing from external aggression: UV, spray, etc...  Eit shall be used as soon as the vessel is parked in the port, dry or throughout the wintering period and shall be removed to move the vessel on a trailer.

The mooring awning cove it effectively protects the entire cockpit and the instruments of the vessel when in port, anchorage, or wintering. The side doors provide easy access to the cockpit and descent.
