Boat owners use their hood to protect the cockpit and helmsman, from wind and spray. 

The hood is most often used to protect the cockpit and barter from wind and spray. It also protects from the sun, the descent of the cockpit towards the inside of the boat.

Designed for use in navigation, port or anchorage, it mainly protects Cockpit passengers from the sun.

The aft canopy creates an additional living space. Completely waterproof it is not compatible with the bimini. The glass panels on the sides can be rolled.

In wintering, it effectively protects the entire cockpit and the instruments of the boat. The side doors provide easy access to the cockpit and descent.
